Since 2008, Youth in Arts Day at the Marin County Fair has featured free, hands-on arts activities for young visitors led by our Mentor Artists, as well as a family performance series on the Ben and Jerry's Stage. In 2011, Youth in Arts created a “Made in Marin” replica of the Golden Gate Bridge with young Fair visitors in honor of the Bridge’s anniversary and the Fair theme. The sculpture was constructed from recycled materials, primarily sourced from Marin County. The completed structure was moved to Youth in Arts at 917 C Street in downtown San Rafael after the Fair.
