Kaitlin McGaw is a singer, songwriter, performer, dancer, writer and educator. She is the founder of Alphabet Rockers, a multi-media hip hop music educational company for early elementary school learning. A Harvard University Graduate in Afro-American Studies, Kaitlin is dedicated to culturally responsive teaching and aligning her music and movement residencies with the Common Core, celebrating the learning needs of each student. In Alphabet Rockers, she has designed CDs, nutrition and bullying prevention assemblies, classroom curriculum and an iPhone app, and is currently producing the video series. She is a featured presenter at kindergarten conferences on arts-integrated learning. Along with co-writer Tommy Shepherd, Kaitlin has been commissioned to write songs for kids for fitness and wellness programs, and serves on the board of directors for the West Coast Songwriters.
