Parent Workshop: Creating an Arts Learning Community

Learn how to cultivate talent and interest in your community to make arts a central focus of student learning. Learn how to be an arts advocate for your children and your school and find out about research that supports the value of arts learning. Hands-on activities that you can use to build community support and value for the arts will be included. This 90-minute workshop is tailored to be accessible to parents with no previous experience in the arts or in teaching. We are happy to provide a version of this workshop for teachers, teaching artists or other professional educators. Different time frames and fees may apply.
