Who We Are
Max Bayer
Max is a Sophomore at Tam High School and lives in Mill Valley. He has a broad area of interests which include 'Til Dawn, Football, Tennis and Drama. He was privileged to be part of 'Til Dawn as a Freshman and enjoys the group and Austin Willacy's leadership.
Arelys Desouza
Arelys lives in Corte Madera and is a junior at Redwood High. Singing has been a part of her life as long as she can remember; whether it was in her room or in a talent show, she was always singing or humming some tune. Arelys first saw ‘Til Dawn perform when she was in fifth grade, and knew that when she was older she wanted to be a part of it. Being in ‘Til Dawn is like a dream come true! When she’s not singing, Arelys likes to swim and play guitar.
Sarah Gamblin
Sarah is a Junior at Marin Catholic High School and loves everything theater-related. She has been acting in plays since 3rd grade and singing in choir since 6th grade. Sarah also enjoys playing sports, (although she isn't that good at them). She is very involved in her school and is a co-leader if the PB&J (People Bringing Justice) club, and is in the Improv Club, National Honor Society, and California Scholarship Federation. She was on the MC volleyball team and was in two school plays, “You're a Good Man Charlie Brown”, and “John Lennon & Me”, in addition to being the stage manager for “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. Otherwise, Sarah is just a normal teenage girl who dreams of playing Belle on Brodway and winning American Idol (or some other singing competition)!
Chloe Gasparini
Chloe is a sophomore at San Marin High School. She lives in Novato, and has always loved to sing. She has been watching her siblings in 'Til Dawn since she was very little, and is very excited to start her own 'Til Dawn journey! Besides singing, Chloe loves to dance, act, and do musicals. She is a part of the music program at San Marin, and loves it! Chloe could not be happier to be a member of 'Til Dawn!
Matthew Herrero
Matt is a student at Marin Academy, where he is involved in the music, theatre, and soccer programs. Matt has had a passion for singing and performing his entire life, but his first actually performance was in "Hair" with Sharon Boucher's musical theatre in fifth grade. Since then he has played lead roles in "Peter Pan", "High School Musical", and "Les Miserables". He also loves to be playing his guitar and passing the ball around on the soccer field. He is excited to join `Til Dawn and looking forward to finding out what the future has to offer!
Alexander (AJ) Johanson
Alexander (AJ) Johanson is a sophomore at Marin Academy. In addition to actively participating in the school's “Music of the World Ensemble”, AJ is also a four season athlete, and divides his year into Cross Country, Basketball, Track & Field, and more Basketball. AJ enjoys singing, and has been doing it ever since he was little, performing in Musicals with Marilyn Izdebski since he was 11. Besides sports and music, he is an active hiker and backpacker, and spends much of his time outside.
Devon Lawrence
Devon lives in Mill Valley and is a sophomore at Tam High School. She loves everything about music, and has been singing and playing piano as long as she can remember. She also likes spending time with her friends, dancing, and is in the drama program at Tam. More recently, she's discovered a passion for writing, arranging, and recording her own music. No matter what, she knows she'll always be doing music in some way throughout her life. Devon's excited to be able to sing with so many amazing people in 'Til Dawn!
Emily Laskin
Emily is a Junior at San Rafael High School. Given that she enrolled in piano and singing lessons when she turned 5 it’s safe to say she has
always been really passionate about music. She has been involved in many singing groups including the Marin Girls Chorus and the San Rafael High Jazz Choir. She also uses music as an escape from her very busy lifestyle, which includes school, work, mountain bike team, and spending time with her close friends and family. Emily knows that music will always be an important part of her life. She has been listening to 'Til Dawn since she was very young, and absolutely loves being a part of the group!
Ali Macmillan
Ali is a Sophomore at Redwood High School. She’s very active in the drama program as well as co-president of the glee club. She has been an avid performer in musicals since age 9, playing Grace in "Annie", Jan in "Grease" and over 25 over musical productions around Marin, including a production of Shakespeare’s "A Midsummer Night's Dream". She participated in her middle school chorus programs all four years, has taken various forms of dance in the past few years and plays the guitar. She couldn't be more excited to be member of 'Til Dawn!
Austin Smith
Austin Smith is a Junior at Redwood High School. He loves to sing! Getting into 'Til Dawn was a very satisfying achievement for him, and he loves being in the group. Music is the biggest part of his life, but he also loves skiing and holds a first degree black belt under Mike Valentine at Practical Martial Arts. Peace, Love, and Hendrix.t of her life. Maralisa is determined to pursue a career in jazz and blues, and continues to strive to be the best singer and person she can be.
Connor Stock
Connor Stock is a 16 year old Junior at Redwood High School in Larkspur. His favorite thing to do is to be creative (in any activity). He has loved music since he was in first grade when he started the recorder, and tried his hand at various instruments including flute, violin, and clarinet before he found piano. He has played guitar since he was 12 and loves to play music with his friends and with his band. He was inspired to try singing and it has changed his life. He always looks forward to the next Til' Dawn event, and cherishes the new relationships and friends he has made because of Til' Dawn. He also enjoys playing basketball and tennis as well as other random games that he and his neighbors make up to pass the time on his street.
